Welcome to Railroading in the San Francisco Bay Area, if this is your first time visiting this site, please take a moment to read a few things which will help you to navigate thru the site. The main goal of this site is to share information with others, offer quality images and to make navigation as easy as possible.
The mainpage you first came in on is the cover page, much like that of a magazine or book. Clicking the enter button will take you to the table of contents page, once you've choosen your topic from the table of contents page, you will be taken to the index page which lists all the different catogories of each topic. From here you will be taken to each individual page that has the information you are looking for. It's really not as bad as it sounds.

I've incorporated the use of META tags on the mainpage and index pages, these are those little tags that pop up with information when the pointer of your mouse is over a image. Within these tags is information which will help you return to a different area of the site. Other pages within the site do not have any links to get you back to the page you just came from, you'll have to use your browsers back button for this. The only links are at the end of a subject that is severail pages long.
Another feature of this site is the use of a standard image size, all images are no larger than 400x600 pixels, I use thumbnails on story pages, these are of a standard size which is 100x150 pixels. All pages have a standard black backround, text is in white and links are highlighted in red.
As with all things in life nothing is ever finished, since this is a non-profit web site, updates are done when time permits. As you progress through this site, you will find some dead links, never fear, I'm fully aware of the this and I'm working to add more content.
Now that you have taken the time to read a bit about this web site, take this link to find out about what's new or just jump ahead to the table of contents page.
